Founded in 2020 in Ierapetra, Crete, with the mission to enhance vegetable cultivation methods through the use of innovative materials and modern agricultural techniques.

Meet The Team

Emilios Bachlitzanakis
Agronomist MSci, MIBA - Founder
Ηe graduated with an Integrated Master’s degree in Agricultural Science from the School of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Thessaly. He later obtained a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the Greek branch of USGM. He is a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE) and works in the broader region of Crete as an agronomist and crop consultant.Founder of “Mediterranean Harvest” greenhouses.

Emmanuel Antonakis
Entrepreneur, Financial Advisor-CoFounder
He studied Economics. Upon returning to Ierapetra, he founded the agricultural supply store “Syntagi Green Progress,” one of the largest retail outlets for plant protection products and fertilizers in the region. He later established the greenhouse operations “Syntagi” and “Syntagi Hydroponics.” He has served as a founding member and president of the business group Golden Group.

Matthew Antonakis
Agronomist, MSc - CoFounder
He holds a Master’s degree in Tropical and Subtropical Plants and subsequently completed the postgraduate program in Hydroponic Cultivation at the Agricultural University of Athens. He is the co-founder and Head Technician at “Syntagi Green Progress,” as well as at the greenhouse units “Syntagi” and “Syntagi Hydroponics.” He is a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE).

Emmanouil Petrakis
Agronomist, MSc – Agricultural Economist, MSc – Supply Chain Coordinator
Emmanouil Petrakis graduated from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development of the Agricultural University of Athens, holding an Integrated Master’s degree in Agronomy. He subsequently received a research assistantship and studied at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the United States, focusing on Agricultural Economics, with a minor in Statistics. He is a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece and is part of the team of Hagronand “Syntagi Green Progress”.

We work with leading manufacturers in the industry. We can also produce coco peat grow bags tailored to your requirements and manage complete hydroponic irrigation systems in collaboration with Rivulis. In Greece, we work with the stone wool slab manufacturer BeGrow. We additionally import hydroponic channels, spacers and ground cover fabrics.
